Angie just put the phone down after speaking to Alice. It’s clear to her that she wants to end things with John but she can not help feel that she might break John in the meantime. She understands that Alice can not keep a relationship alive with her being who knows where. She takes a deep breath and then goes and shares the news with their mom. Their mom immediately understand.
“I knew she was going to do it. She just waited for him to have some distance from her. I knew her heart wasn’t in the relationship anymore but it was with the Navy Seals. It will be better for him to move on”
“But how do I break the news to him, mom? You know he’ll be devastated”
