I gladly turn around and walk toward Helena’s bed to check on her. As walk through the tent, I notice that there is only one bed open and it is the bed next to Liam. The same one I was in just yesterday. I can not be close to him right now and in the tired state I am in, I can only spell trouble for me. I find a comfortable chair close to the ICU department and start to make myself comfortable.
It does not take me long to fall asleep after the day I had. I know that Liam is close by and that I am not alone. Nothing will stop me from sleeping right away.
