Darkness is all around and I feel strange sounds surrounding me. With a lot of effort, I open my eyes and close them back fast, as I need to adjust to the strange light. It’s dark in the room and only a few red lamps shine here and there.
Slurping sounds take up speed and I open my eyes again, trying not to move in an attempt not to give myself away. I slowly look around the room I am in and it feels like it’s some kind of a palace… with dark marble columns, red curtains, and antique furniture. How very…gothic.
