The man that the knights had acquired continued to make noises, but it didn’t seem like anyone was truly listening to anything that spilled from his mouth. It was cries of release, which isn’t at all possible in this situation. Even if there were a few places where people usually make themselves comfortable, there were still gathering attentions.
One, in particular, is Sylvester.
He had personally volunteered to join the expedition with the title of being the Duke’s knight, even if he knew that the man would most likely be protecting him more than Sylvester could even protect him. The man is built like a tank and has a brain in combat that is unlike any other. He doubted that Severin needed protection.
