Roseanne was panicking.
Her hand gripped what was on her hands. She was trying to remember if the knight had bought the item before trying to harm Severin. Her knees buckled, as she could faintly remember the details, or why Severin was almost harmed if Roman was not present.
“Can we visit Severin?” her words were quiet, clearly shaking.
Marianne frowned. “That can’t be done, Your Grace.”
Roman only looked at the woman. He didn’t understand what caused her to act like this. She seemed like she had everything figured out when she had walked through the buzzing place, but after seeing that thing caged in her arms—she had gotten worse.
