Pain. Guilt. Longing. Those are the few emotions I can see in her eyes. She was unmoving, like the world stops when she saw me, and staring at her, I found myself a reason to live once again.
When a tear escaped from her eyes, my heart crushed into pieces. I felt as if I was torn into two. I want to hug her tight, whisper that everything's alright, that it was not her fault, that she doesn't have a choice, but I don't want her to get hurt even more. Especially now that seeing me, in front of her, pains her. That my presence is futile for her.
"A-azriel..." She paled. Her body's shaking and tears kept flowing down her rossy cheeks, her eyes puffy from crying.
