I turn the water on a medium high heat and give it a minute to heat up. It took me by surprise to realize that the hot water was pretty instant and I stepped under the warm stream. I moaned as the water hit my sore body and I felt everything start to melt away: the cold, the dirt, the worries, all of it washing down the drain of this luxurious shower. After a few minutes of enjoying the hot water, I decided to wash my hair first. I realized after the first lather, that I was going to have to wash it again and I ended up washing it three full times before the water started to finally run clear.
