Serena glanced around at what was a familiar scene, the soft lush grass, the shimmering clear blue lake, the stunning foliage on the trees and a swing on one of them. Was that a little girl crying on it? She moved towards her, unable to see clearly but able to make out the girl's blonde hair and beautiful pink dress as she swung back and forth, her back to Serena.
"Leave her be" a croaky voice said and Serena whirled around in shock but unsurprised to see Eleanor again.
"Am I dead" she asked, heart thumping as she waited for the answer. Her heart was aching at leaving her loved ones behind and she felt a small tear in her eye as she thought of Xavier and how little time she had gotten to spend with him.
