The mass was solemn like it was the normal ones we are attending to. Clayton was all ears and I could almost smile at how serious he is whenever I glance his way from time to time. Genius snickered at me when we’re outside the church. Mom was talking about our dinner reservation while Dad was listening. We all know that he couldn’t do anything when Mom has already decided. Mom always has the final say. She’s the boss. Dad acknowledges that. “Did you ask Clayton if he eats in the restaurant we frequent?” Genius asked me softly.
