“They still didn’t finish?” I wanted to know. Angela stayed with me the entire time since her brother arrived at the pack and abruptly entered the pack house, surprising me in the hall. It was already one hour, and I felt nervous, asking myself why the heck did they stay there for so long. Leia assured me that there was nothing wrong, otherwise, she was sure her mate would inform her. I couldn’t say that her explanation calmed me, but it was at least a little reassuring.
“Everything will be alright Lili. Relax.” Angie tried to calm me. I don’t know how many times during this last hour. We came back to the living room, awaiting them to come out of the office. I didn’t hear any shouting from inside of the office either, but that meant nothing.
