-Casimir POV- I didn’t even bother to look over at Gal or Gladys when they burst into the shouting about, “They got it.” Nothing could have gotten me to take my eyes off of Maeve. Nothing. All I have been able to do is keep my gaze locked onto her neck, where I can see her pulse. Needing to see the proof that she is still alive.
