-Maeve POV-
Shortly after Maeve's surgery…
Where am I?
I think to myself as I take in my surroundings. I am in some type of forest, but it is unlike anything I've ever heard of. The trees are different colors, some bright green, some dark blue going into light blue, and some that are different shades of white. The grass is a shade of light purple that comes right up to my waist. I run my fingers through the blades as I start to walk ahead. I may not know where I am going, but this is a moment that I want to enjoy.
All of a sudden, a wolf runs past me, causing the blades of grass to whoosh. Something calls to me about this wolf, so I run after it. Thankfully, I don't have to run for long as the wolf comes to a stop in front of this huge tree. The trunk of it is massive. Quickly snap
