It was getting late and we needed to get out of the forest fast. Not that I was afraid—a Lycan King can never show fear—but I didn't want to put Everly in any form of danger. The fastest way to get back home was by moving in our Wolf form.
I caught a glimpse of her Wolf today but it wasn't very strong. So I shifted back to my Lycan form and crouched down, ordering her to climb on top of my back. She hesitated for a moment and obeyed.
