CHAPTER 9: MEETING THE MONSTER EVERLY: I walked slowly but steadily as if I had a mission to accomplish. Despite the wind that howled through the ancient trees, I continued moving further into the forest. Occasionally, I would shivere, not from the cold, but from a feeling I couldn't explain.
