Kaelan towered over Johnson as he stood face to face with him. “Since you decided to challenge me, get ready for what's coming for you.”
He turned around and sauntered out of the living room. I gave Elana a stern glare before Evan and I followed Kaelan to the car.
As Kaelan sat behind the steering, his eyes dilated and I knew he was using the mind link. We drove back in silence and when we arrived at Crescent Moon, the council members were already waiting.
Then I concluded that Kaelan must have ordered Owen through the mind link to gather the elders for an urgent meeting.
