My head was pounding. The incessant beeping wasn't helping either. My head felt so groggy. I opened my eyes and immediately regretted it, as the bright light in the room only increased the pain in my head. I controlled my breathing and worked on the techniques the doctors had shown me in the past. I knew it hurt, but I needed to figure out where I was.
