"What did I tell you?" I ask, smiling towards her once our favourite song finishes.
"I know.. I know.. You were right. Nothing bad was going to happen. It was just my nerves." She says smiling at me.
Just as I'm about to reach over and clasp her hand in mine, I notice car lights behind us.
"Hmm.. That's weird." I remark.
"What is?" Rylee asks.
"I've just never seen anyone out here this late before. I guess I expected it to be abandoned tonight as well." I say, shrugging my shoulders, however, I can't help but feel my stomach drop. I'm not normally nervous. But for whatever reason, my nerves have gotten the better of me.
