Ryli liked that she was free to do everything she wanted.
For years, her brother did not restrict her from everything. Of course, she was not taking him for granted—but it gives her a window to do what she always does. All of that changed when Ryder noticed that something was off with how Ryli presented herself. Maybe it was because of how Reid had reacted, but he was slowly being aware of Ryli. It had been quite a while since he did, so everything felt new for Ryli.
