"Ryli, what is happening?"
Ryder is typically not one to question his twin sister about anything, but he does feel a bit confused about how Reid reacted. During the whole interaction in the house, he took notice of how Reid was attentive to Ryli. He made sure to watch Ryli how she eats and pulls her away when people are talking. All in all, it was an experience that even bothered Ryder.
She paused, shaking her head. "I don't..."
"Reid. He doesn't usually react that way with you. Did something happen?"
Ryli knew this would come up. So she carefully puts her notebook down, offering him a smile. "This is the first time I left his side, so maybe that's why he was anxious. I failed to call him several times, so he got worried."
