I told myself that I will never come back, but here I am.
Matthias called me out of the blue, in full panic and with a shaking voice. He wanted to know if I had the free time to look after his sisters. There was a pay every hour, and he just needed some extra set of hands. Apparently, he had some sudden changes in his current part-time job and he couldn’t miss the extra salary that he would receive.
Debi had her own place that she needed to be, so he was looking all over for someone who could make sure that his sisters had some adults to look after them. It seemed like I was wrong to think that he would allow them to stay in the apartment all on their own.
“Did you bring your art stuff?” Madeline ask
