BRIAN I make my way to the briefing room but this time it feels so much different than before. This time I know that I would be coming back to someone. It is strange to feel this way because usually, I do not have someone to go home to. Maybe sometimes my mother but now I do not even have her. I stop dead in my tracks. Why did I just think about that? I do not have time to think about that. It is almost as if I have lived someone else’s life when I think that my mother is dead.
