Chapter Forty-Six
There was no fight in me to argue with them more. I nodded, trying not to think about how nice it felt that these men wanted to protect me. That they wanted to keep me safe from anyone who might want to hurt me.
“I spoke with the manager earlier. She’s already got someone waiting at the side entrance so you guys can avoid reporters.” Anna said, reaching for her purse on the floorboard. She picked it up and pulled out a key card. Handing it to Lover, she looked back at me. “Sandra, would you like me to run to the store to pick some stuff up for you?”
The hotel would have toiletries and I was fine with using them until I could go shopping for myself. “Not tonight, I just want to sleep. I’ll go through my bag later and see what I need.”
