Marlie’s POV When I woke up the next morning, the bed was already empty. Frowning, I sat up and noticed a tray of food on my bedside table, filled to the brim with a variety of different options. I smiled at the little heart-shaped note that was on the side of the tray, reminding me how special I was and how much Damian loved me. Though I felt nauseous and not hungry in the slightest, I didn’t want to waste the food, so I did my best to clear the plate. Once I was satisfied with the amount of food that I ate, I got out of bed and headed to Abbie’s room, where I found her still fast asleep.
