Sam’s point of view
I ran and held Emily, not sure what was happening, but the way her body was slouched looking defeated it was obviously not good, she held out the letter to me, as her body convulse wretched sobs escaping her throat, The sound crushing my heart my mind in a whirl.
Emily’s face had become white and drawn in an instant, her warm glow of happiness she had a few moments gone, and my heart sank
