Nate's POV
A couple of hours after Angelica has finally fallen asleep, I headed to my office where Johnson, Caleb, Nikka, and Tobias all waited for me. All seemed quiet and distant about what happened. I sat down on my desk and stared at them. They couldn't even bring themselves to look me in the eyes. I sighed heavily and cleared my throat.
"How is she?" Tobias finally spoke up.
"She could barely move, speak... She couldn't even force herself to make a sound." I quietly said.
"Alpha, we are sorry. We didn't really expect for that to happen..." Nikka said.
"I know. You could've done better. I trusted everybody to take care of her. At least not leave her alone knowing Sabrina lives under the same rood as all of us. You know how she is and you know what she is capable of doing." I s
