I put an arm around her protectively, and she refused to look at Johnson. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at him. I quietly shushed Angel as I rubbed her arm.
"Angel...?" Johnson softly called out.
Angel closed her eyes tightly as she buried her face on my chest.
I gestured for them to go, and they all sadly went out of the room. I pulled Angel closer to me and kissed her forehead. She was clearly going through a lot of things that she couldn't tell me about, but why was her reaction like that when she saw Johnson? Did he do something to her? I doubt that he would but... considering what had happened, everybody might have been placed under a spell of some sort.
