Luke looks on, his heart breaking. He can understand why she broke down, because he feels similar, the joy of finally having some family can get overwhelmed by the fact that they have missed out on this for so many years. Luke can’t help but feel that he has failed so miserably as an older brother. She has been through so much and he has never once been able to protect her.
