Nana crouched down low outside, calling the command, "Golem".
Nana's body grew stems that extended with rocks growing in between. Her feet stomped like an elephant. It banged on itself like a gorilla. Hakim looked up, comparing himself to the ferocious creature. It stood up high like a gorilla rather than a giant. He forgot Nana was a druid.
"Ready," asked Hakim.
"I'm ready," she answered in a deep golish voice.
They ran forward towards the end of their straight path. A couple of shamans with large masks jumped in their way. Nana ran through the shamans like a rhino among mice. Their chances of inflicting harm were minimal.
Hakim trailed behind her, barely able to keep up. It appeared easy enough he thought. These shamans didn't stand a chance.
At the end of the path, Hakim spotted a crystal in a tree. He activated it and was given two patterns to select. One was a "U" shape and the other was the same, but upside down. They both ended in the same spot.
Nana began trying to recall which one she chose in her previous runs. But her mind went blank. Assuming the crystal was at the far end of the uncharted map, Hakim selected the upside-down "U" given it helps them cover more ground towards their target.
The trees before them dropped. The path going forward started as grass with an earth wall as borders. It led into a cave that curved to the right.
An arrow fired at Hakim. Nana shielded him. Shamans were dancing on top of the wall while firing their arrows at the pair.
While protected, Hakim fired a charged bolt of lightning at a shaman. It died falling back. The rest ran on the wall to get around Nana.
"Let's run!" yelled Hakim.
Hakim led the way as Nana shielded him. In the cave, fireballs shot out at them.
"Crap I forgot about these," said Nana.
She further noted her memory can be like a squirrel monkey at times. The shaman were in tunnels built at the side of the caves. There were minimal ways of harming them.
Hakim created a wall of ice to shield them from the outer tunnel. Nana easily defended them from the inner tunnel.
They looped around avoiding harm. The path led back to the outside where they were greeted with raining arrows. Hakim slammed his palms down to create an ice wall which stopped the arrows.
He charged an ice attack before running out with Nana. As soon as the shamans were spotted, Hakim shot out a ball of ice that temporarily froze the shamans.
A few managed to avoid the ice attacks. They fired back just when the two made it to another crystal in a tree.
None of the shaman's attacks made it to them. Nana noted that each crystal position is essentially safe from them.
Two shapes were displayed. One was a straight line going back into the cave. The other was an "L" that curved to the East of the map. The shamans were all unfrozen and the ice walls were all melted. Either they could gain more ground or travel a little further north through a charted area. He picked the straight path.
They turned back with only a quick breath gained before running. Hakim shot out his ice attacks to freeze many Shamans.
Inside the cave, fireballs shot out at them again. Nana huddled over Hakim to shield him to the other side. However, the fireballs were too great. The deeper they ran into the cave was the harder the fireballs struck.
Her thick skin was crumbling away. Hakim created a few small ice walls to shield her, but the shamans easily ran to different areas of the tunnel.
They reached the end, but Nana needed a break to heal herself. The options given were an "L" shape to the left and another to the right. It didn't appear to matter. Nana couldn't recall if there was a difference.
He took a guess choosing the right L. The cave deepened quite a bit before it hooked to the right. There were no shamans nor tunnels for anything to attack them from.
"I think this is where it got bad," said Nana.
"Were there any traps?" asked Hakim.
She couldn't recall any. But looking into the cave gave her a strong feeling of danger.
After stepping into the new area, a giant man smashed his axe into Nana. She blocked with her arm and punched his face.
While knocked back, Hakim blasted him with a fully charged lightning to keep him stunned down. They attempted to escape, but he quickly chased after them.
An elderly man stood firm on a ledge in the upper corner unseen. He waited for the perfect moment to shoot down waves of lightning to stun them. Hakim was paralyzed, whereas Nana's rock body resisted the lightning.
The man leapt with his axe again. Nana caught and threw him towards the wizard above. She carefully picked up Hakim to run down the tunnel.
Along the way, she was tackled by two axemen. She withstood their forceful tackles and heavy axe swings long enough for hakim to regain mobility.
Hakim electrocuted them with bolts of lightning. Their armor withstood fatal injury from the attacks. However, they were still stunned for roughly 10 seconds at a time.
An axe hurled into Nana's face. The strike was strong enough to take her down. Hakim took a moment to freeze the third attacker, giving Nana enough time to shapeshift again.
"Rhino!" yelled Nana.
The earth which made her body broke apart. Leaving her to fall on all fours. Hakim jumped on her back, allowing her to storm to the crystal.
The axemen yelled, taunting them to fight. They paid no mind to the barbaric fighters. The two patterns displayed was easy. They were both straight paths leading to their left and right respectively.
"Right," said Nana with a confident obnoxious voice.
Hakim shook his head, pointing out the right would take them back. Even as a rhino, Nana couldn't prevent the game from showing her pout. It was hilarious. Hakim never got to see this side of her.
Before selecting the path, the two made a simple gameplan.
