Got It

Hakim rode on top of Nana's back in her rhino form. He dual cast wind to push back all of the axemen trying to kill them. It was a little tricky at first due to riding a rhino and shooting waves of wind at moving targets. It was going well until many axemen came together to make a human wall. Nana managed to lower her speed to run past them on the left. A hidden axeman threw his axe at Hakim. He defended himself using a dagger, catching the axe at the same time. Refusing to completely stop, Nana ran into the crystal. The options appeared in front of them. A "T" shape was offered along with a reverse "L". It felt like an odd choice. Whereas the T was possibly giving two options at the end, the reverse L appeared to be landing them on the right tip of the T. Hakim picked T and instantly regretted it. The wall split to reveal an ice cave. Chills shook them like being in a freezer before they even entered. As usual, there were no threats in sight. "Let's gooo, ice mephit," said Nana. "I hate those," said Hakim watching as all of Nana's weight was sucked away from within. Her grey skin turned into white-ice. Wings stuck from her back. Ears and nose were pointy like icicles. She was a horrid sight in the least. "Everybody hates these shits," she answered. Hakim shook himself out and shared his fire spell fully. They lightly trotted down the icy path. A wizard above, in an ice cage, mumbled a spell. Hakim fired a fireball to kill the old man. But the ice cage was too powerful. An icicle shot next to them, releasing an ice spell that trapped their feet. By the time Nana freed her legs, the mumbling wizard summoned a remorhaz from the ice walls of the cave. the massive predator crawled out, swinging its head and stretching its large spikes. The connecting skin slapped as it pulled out its hundred centipede-like legs. While Hakim began burning the ice around him, Nana launched icicles at the remorhaz. Despite hitting its eyes, the icicles didn't do much damage. It snapped its head at Nana. Even smashed her into a wall. She fought hard, targeting its eyes with ice magic. The creature's nasty mouth continued to snap the ice like twigs. A fireball shootout at the remorhaz. Hakim was still stuck in the ice, but couldn't leave Nana to fight alone. Knowing he couldn't move, the remorhaz shot its head to eat Hakim. Nana tackled him out of the ice. and flew down the path. The remorhaz sprinted after them, nearly catching them when Nana threw Hakim tow a crystal and fell to another. The nasty thing smashed its head into the wall, unable the go any further due to the summoning spell. It took a minute before it vanished into the frost. The two checked their crystals for the options. Hakim had a reverse "L" that stretched back along with an "L" that stuck West and turned South. Nana had a straight path going North and another going South. Hakim instructed Nana to select the North path whereas he chose the L going far West. Both paths opened respectively. His path was empty like before. Not the kind of risk he wanted. In his relief, Hakim ran over to the safety with Nana. He threw his arms at the very sight of the path Nana opened. Wolves slept in packs of five to seven. In the distance, it appeared to be a furnace. The ground was lower, and small flames were seen. "How good is your stealth?" whispered Hakim. Nana shook her head, "In this state, crap". "Any better ice transformations"? "Nope. But I will change into something nice for the hot area before I melt". Nana signaled her hands forward and led the way through. They crept their way past the sleeping snow wolves. Not a single one woke up until midway through the ice path a bird chirped. The wolves awakened with vicious snarls. Their eyes glowed red. Before they pounced up, Nana was flying through. Hakim stretched out his arms to his side, releasing lightning magic at the wolves. A pack was behind them. Nana spun around in mid-air to launch icicles at them. A few were stabbed while others were merely halted. After checking for her fire form, Nana took the risk of transforming into a diamarill. The club at the end of her thick tail smashed through many wolves. Her paws were big enough to easily crush them. If any got near to Hakim she would snap them with her large mouth. The wolves jumped on her. Some were impaled by the spikes on her back. Hakim turned back to help, just to be yelled at to simply run. Unbeknownst to Hakim, the cold was slowly killing Nana in her cold-blooded form. They ran till they fell into the furnace. The fire warmed Nana up till she could use fire abilities again. Infurnace hounds jumped at Nana just as the wolves had. Hakim sprinted to the end after letting out a shockwave of lightning. Nana made quick work of the infurnace hounds, joining her partner at the ends. "Good thing we aren't actually fighting these monsters," said Nana. Unable to get over her deep monstrous voice, Hakim noted that her mission seems to be pinning them in a tower defense game where they are the enemy. Nana activated the crystal. Instead of options appearing, the wall simply fell to a large T-shaped furnace. Glowing green crystals rested in the wall in front. Hakim slowly poked his head, noticing the white crystals in the wall on their side. Luckily, there were no monsters. "Huh, it looks just like the front," said Nana. What do you mean?" asked Hakim. "Well I remember when I played before, we chose a different first option. And the entire wall on the entrance side looked like this. I think I forgot to tell you that". Hakim thought well on this. It actually made sense. Their objective wasn't in the far end. It was rather somewhere in the center. It was now clear where they needed to go. The two turned around to where they came from. The infurnace stared, ready for them to run through. They both shook themselves out and ran for it. Once the hellish hounds were near, Hakim froze them into an ice boulder. Nana smashed the remaining few to the side. Before they entered the ice path, Nana released a fire attack the burnt through many ice wolves. They jumped up and ran through. Nana killed many, making it to the end. No longer being able to take the cold, she transformed into her golem state. Her magic was beginning to run low. But it was more than enough if Hakim was right. She acted as a shield for Hakim to take him across to the other side of the T-shape he opened earlier. Just as before it was seemingly clear. Hakim poked his head in, noticing the two wizards in their ice cages. He jolted across whereas Nana jumped up to the wizard who was about to shoot out his ice spell. She rattled his cage well, allowing Hakim to make it to safety. A remorhaz came after her. She punched its teeth in and threw it to the side. Though clunky, Nana her to the safe area alongside Hakim. Hakim smiled pressing on the crystal. A single path laid out, leading to a built room. The path itself was outlined in green glowing crystals. They took it easy walking to the large room. They need a moment to rest. The round room itself was outlined in green crystals. No enemies were inside. A white crystal, the size of a chicken, floated within a light that shined from above. Nana grabbed the crystal from the light and held it in her arms. Both listened for traps and monsters. But nothing was heard. A light rose from the crystal, bestowing Nana with a transformation of her choosing from the mission. "Ooh," she said flipping through the selection of monsters. Many she hadn't faced but was familiar with them from other themes. After a good minute of flipping through, she spotted what she wanted. Never in her Isekai Game Career did she think she would obtain the champion of the vengeful. The smile on her face warmed Hakim's heart until he saw what she picked.
