Agrat

A sweet melody that wasn't heard before drifted through the rays of light that shined from the moon above. Like a psalm, the moon carried a blessing of divinity within its glow. The cool air relieved the struggles they felt.

An onyx toned woman glided with half steps across the cave. Her white linen dress hanged from just below her waist, gently swaying with her legs. The v below her toned stomach was painted bright purple that shimmered in ancient texts written by King Solomon. They stretched upwards to her bare breasts and further behind her back.

The woman took a turn, crossing her legs. She felt down her plats which ended with a series of gold and purple beads above her breast. Her virgin dance flowed perfectly with the dulcet melody. The glare of her soulless eyes pierced across the cave.

In her hand was a cup of red wine for her sipping. Dani's jealousy was hindered by the majestic beauty that danced before her. Catching herself becoming complacent, Vanessa rolled her shoulders vigorously and stretched her neck.

"Is this what humanity has left to continue their legacy?" she asked in a soothing voice.

Mesmerized by her appearance, Andres requested the mistress to repeat herself. A scorn shot from Logan that was relieved when Vanessa smacked Andres on the head. Jaws dropped, as Vanessa wasn't the kind of girl to lay her hands on a friend.

She rose her hands up wide, gazing into the moonlight, "Lord, grant me the power to slay your enemies".

Her chin lowered as one hand dropped the glass of wine, causing the melody to end.

Dani questioned the lady on why Samael was harming people and destroying Christmas?

A steady tempo was now being played with heavy keys. The mistress glared with eyes of pity. Her right hand stretched out catching a bronze-tipped spear that flew at her. She stepped gently towards the team with each passing key. Her soft feet grazed the moon's tears on the earth.

Jeff was uncertain of her next attack. He merely held his rifle up, waiting for an appropriate time to attack. Logan grabbed Vanessa's shoulder to snap her out of her daze. 

The woman motioned her hand, "In this battle for humanity, it will be I, Agrat, the daughter of Mahlat and third wife of Lord Samael who will achieve this victory".

Heavy keystrokes played as Agrat continued her motion.

In an attempt to avoid a battle for a better understanding of the story, Jeff said, "Look, we're not trying t-".

A fierce swing of Agrat's spear darted a dark spike through Jeff's body.

Vanessa dashed towards Agrat as Logan sliced a wind blade towards her.

Andres tried to get the pair to wait while Dani observed Jeff's motionless state. He wasn't dead nor bleeding. But the air draining from his lungs worried her as to what he was going through.

Mina and Leira hid well behind a spike at the wall of the cave for their safety.

Keystrokes got heavier once Vanessa reached Agrat, prompting her to swing her katana. With ease, Agrat dodged the attack and moved in for a fatal strike.

A card flew directly at Agrat throwing her off balance. Yet missing to her luck.

Vanessa, now within range, felt the momentum in her body to move in for a strike. Unfortunately, Agrat kicked Vanessa away in time before Logan got in range.

"Vanessa, stay back!" he yelled.

The piano's tune was fast and heavy in contrast to Logan's unusual motion of attacks. He brought his blade down for a heavy swing that Agrat counter.

She was met with a blade from his free hand shooting at her chest.

He smiled knowing he figured out her trick. Agrat maintained eye contact as she fought her way through Logan's assault.

Though he was gaining the upper hand, Andres stepped in for a heavy swing. Agrat spun past his attack without looking and countered with a set of black tendrils thrown into Andres' calves.

She jetted away, gaining much distance between them. Afterward, she jumped high onto a ledge that stuck out of the upper cave wall.

"Seriously dude?" asked Logan.

"She's not even trying," said Vanessa watching the lady heal herself of Logan's attack.

"I have a plan," said Logan as Dani began firing at the lady, "But I need y'all to stay out of my way for the moment".

Lightly nodding, Andres agreed to allow Logan to face off against the witch. He attempted to move his legs but realized they were stuck.

Dani fired her magical bullets until the witch took an offensive stance. Agrat created a shield of darkness as she waved her spear. A loud bang was heard that echoed throughout the room.

Darkness spiked out of the ground, from the walls going inward. Dani ran towards Andres, firing at Agrat.

He prepared his wall technique in hopes Dani would make it close enough for him to shield her. Just like Leira, Mina, and the ferret, the darkness caught up to her.

Like the other, it pierced through her chest and again through her hip. Even her legs and feet were caught in spikes.

Andres' shield did manage to keep himself, Logan, and Vanessa safe. 

Once Agrat saw that she was getting nowhere, she jumped down for another round. This time, Logan took the lead towards her.

The music began a dark, vibrant cadence. It was a strong tone that Logan couldn't ignore.

He attacked in sync with the stoke of each drop. He attacked high with his sword as Agrat countered low with her spear. He'd surprised her with a leg blocking her counter.

She thrusted her palms towards logan thrice believing she would hit. But her scrawny opponent Foresaw her attack.

He remained in a close distance jabbing at the end of the cadence to counter Agrat's counter. However, the strokes in keys had slightly changed.

The two continued their duel continuing to strike one another with their magical blades. The witch clearly had an advantage of power.

She created a shield for just a moment. As soon as it had let down, the cadence came to a drop. Logan took the bait once more and threw an attack.

She avoided his hit and allowed him to hurl himself at her in tune with a heavy stroke of the piano key.

Agrat had finally obtained her opening to take out Logan. She figured he had gotten used to her melodious trick. He attacked in cadence but countered on a heavy key as was lured to do. With a simple dodge instead of a counter, Agrat now had his entire right-hand side to attack.

Despite his body leaning into an attack, Logan quickly shifted his stance to step on Agrat's foot.

"Dispel!" he shouted as he barely avoided Agrat's attack.

The piano came to a stop, causing Agrat to jump back. She was about to jump onto a platform when Vanessa appeared at her side with a full swing of her sword.

Andres stood a few feet behind her to keep his magic shield up and at top potency. Her moves were unpredictable by Agrat. the two fought at full force from a mid-range distance.

Agrat empowered her spear with darkness which trailed every hit. Vanessa however focused solely on her physical ability.

She struck her sword towards Agrat to parry her spear. She kicked Agrat in her hips to impede her movements.

As time passed, Vanessa managed to break through Agrat's defenses. She pierced into her opponent a few times. She even cut her throat at one point. Nothing appeared to kill the witch.

Out of nowhere, Logan ran up on the witch while she was distracted by Vanessa and threw a card on her nose. The card blew up, destroying Agrat's nose.

He slid away to avoid any potential damage while Vanessa pierced her sword into her lungs.

Andres grabbed Vanessa away along with her blade and watched as Agrat began cracking. With each c***k, a beam of purple light shot out.

Agrat stepped back, attempting to conjure magic. But with her nose gone her inanimate body could no longer breathe.

She laughed taunting the trio, that their days are numbered. In return, they watched as Agrat welcomed her mortal death. 

The darkened spikes that stabbed each teammate had disappeared along with their effects. Logan snapped his fingers at Andres, thanking him for the tip.

It was obvious to Andres that she was Egyptian and immortal given the wounds from Vanessa. It was Andres' knowledge of Egyptian mythology to know that the nose of the statute was what allowed it to breathe and live if it was to reanimate.

Likewise, Logan knew if he had told everybody her trick, she would've likely heard and changed to a more devastating fighting style.

The three watched as Jeff got everybody together for the next challenge. Except, there was no exit.

A bright light beamed down from the moon onto the very center of the cave. Jeff gathered his team by the light. There was much hesitation as to whether or not they should go forward immediately. The light itself seemed to have made that decision for them when a portion of the ground revealed itself to be a rising platform

Everybody stayed huddled around, facing outwards. Mina and Leira were standing in the center wondering if everything they are going through is even with it.

As the platform began rising into the moon, a bright light blinded them all to close their eyes.
