The longer I kissed Jesse, the more I realized how much I needed him in my life right now. The mate bond I had with him was the only thing keeping me from letting the grief of losing James completely overwhelm me.
The more time we spent together, the stronger the sparks felt that flowed between us. I wasn't sure how to explain it, but they felt way stronger the sparks that flowed between me and James.
