I hated leaving him so soon, but I also had to get back to work. I know he will be alright. I just hated he had to go through all this. I couldn’t imagine having your mother killed and being blamed for it when you didn’t do it. Although the new detective had officially dropped the charges on the case, Stone was still their prime suspect. But other than Danny saying Stone did it, not even the neighbors that said they saw Stone leaving the house that night could identify him when they were called in to do so.
