Getting to see my uncle was nice. Even better when I knew him, along with my aunt and cousins didn’t believe Danny’s story. I was also glad to see Knuckles and the rest of the guys willing to talk with my uncle when they knew he believed I didn’t do it. We stood in the cemetery for a while after the funeral and talked. I also know my uncle met up with Knuckles and a few others after we all left there. I, on the other hand, was done dealing with so many people. Don’t get me wrong, I was happy the guys and their old ladies showed up and supported me. They made sure I wasn’t alone in saying goodbye to my mother, even if she and I weren’t close.
