Annabel's POV The next day was a blur of avoidance. I didn’t check the group chat. Didn’t open my texts. My phone buzzed maybe five times before I finally shoved it into the bottom of my tote bag and pretended it didn’t exist. Everything in me felt tight and off-balance, like one wrong glance would unravel the fragile grip I had on normal. I kept hoping and praying inside of me that I wouldn't run into Justin, Caleb or Theo.
