I couldn't believe my ears. I instinctively turned back to look at her in disbelief. She was scowling at me while looking visibly upset. I couldn't pretend, I was hurt by her words. I didn't know why I thought I wouldn't be attacked alongside Justin, but I didn't know she would say such a thing. I had taken my time to prepare and look presentable so they would like me, and this was what she had to say.
