Marcus stared out the window in professor Benford’s office. The man sat behind the desk and he could feel his eyes on him.
He sighed and then turned back. He walked back to the chair and sat down.
“Are you going to tell me what is going on with you?” he asked in his straightforward way. The professor never minced words. And Marcus suspected that he didn’t like it when people came to his office. Some wolves truly were loners. Even he didn’t reach him when he was young.
“It’s happening again,” Marcus said irritated with himself and his wolf. When he was younger he could understand why he couldn’t handle his powerful wolf. But now he was older, and he should be able to tame his own wolf.
