Mikaela slowly came awake. She opened her eyes and stared up at the ceiling. The smell of incense and wax filled her nostrils. She frowned. Her room didn’t smell like that. Magic swirled all around her. She could feel it inside her body too. It felt like a never ending well. That was strange, there was no magic in the Alpha King’s house.
Where was she? She asked herself as she turned to her side. She blinked as she came face to face with Rose. She blinked and then smiled at her.
“You’re finally awake,” she said sitting up. “You’ve been asleep for so long.”
Mikaela pushed to a sitting position. She looked down at herself. She had a white robe on. She looked around her. She was in the Rose’s grandmother’s house. She remembered the room. It was the one they put her in the first time
