RONAN
My world stopped. I heard the words, understood them, but they didn't make sense.
"What?" I asked not sure I had heard the words properly. "Your parents." Darius repeated, his voice broke. "They were poisoned."
Iris made a sound beside me , "Ronan," she whispered, but I couldn't look at her.
"How?" I asked. "How were they poisoned?"
"It was Mary," he said. "She is the one who poisoned your parents." The words didn't make sense at first.
"Mary?" I repeated. "The omega? The one we took in?"
"Yes." Darius replied. “She was working with Kerian the whole time. The attack, the poison, she was his inside agent. She gained our trust and when you were both... occupied se took it as an opportunity.." He said, trailing off.
It still did not make sense.
"How do you know this?" I asked
