IRIS After the talk with Ronan and the agreement to not keep anything from each other, things felt like they had changed. The invisible wall that had been between us felt lifted. The afternoon hours passed, Lily woke up and busied herself with her father and I gave them their space until dinner time. Dinner was chaotic as expected. Lily chatted through the entire meal, telling me about her favorite books, the games she played with the other pack pups, and the way her grandma made the best fruit cakes in the entire pack.
