I returned to my apartment with the twins and Phoebe, and for the first week all I did was think about my decision. I wanted to start over somewhere new, put the past behind me for good. I wanted nothing more to do with packs and wolves. I had lived through enough drama to last me a lifetime. I had enough money to grant me a new life, I just did not know where I wanted to go. At the beginning, I had not been in a rush until I saw someone standing across my building right at the spot Darius and Kael had been standing weeks before. I had no idea if it was one of Silver Fang members or someone from Nelion or someone who was just loitering by chance. It happened for three consecutive days and I could not wait any longer. I felt uneasy and that night, I told Phoebe we were leaving.
