The days before the ceremony moved so fast. I spent every spare moment searching for Venus. Kerian had mentioned her once, in passing, when I asked where most children went especially the omegas. He said they were assigned to omegas to teach them about their duties once they came of age. He needed not say more. So I searched and I found Venus on the fourth day of searching.
She was in one of the omega quarters that were located farther away from the main pack area. The omega quarters were mostly occupied my older omegas who were past child-bearing age.
