The place where they were keeping Ronan was nothing like I had imagined. I had pictured a hospital but the driver took me to a concrete bunker half buried in the side of a mountain. It was surrounded by a double perimeter of armed guards. The building was gray and windowless and its only entrance was a heavy steel door that looked like it could withstand a bomb blast.
Darius met me at the gate and he was wearing a heavy jacket against the mountain cold.
