I couldn’t move on my spot. Isaiah’s eyes pierced through mine as he and Jude walked closer to our table. With every step he took, my heart pounded inside my chest. It’s as if I did something wrong and he’s here to punish me.
But why is he here? Didn’t he tell me that he has a long-standing operation? Now, what is he doing here?
“Oops,” Seraphim said but I kind of have an idea that she’s the reason why they are here. I just don’t understand why Isaiah is here when he has to be in the operating room right now.
Isaiah stood beside me before pulling the chair where Hero sat a few moments ago. I looked at him but he was not saying anything. He sat there and called the waited for the menu. I guess they’re having dinner with us right now.
