I remember the day I heard that a girl had fallen from the sky. It's a tale that sounds impossible, but the girl in question is just as unfeasible. As soon as Father heard that a Saintess had been discovered, he immediately sent an invitation to the church. He seemed confidant that things would go as he planned, so much so that he even began preparing a room for her in the main palace. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he smiled when he heard the news. My mother didn't share as much excitement as he did, but still held intrigue. I didn't understand why the two were reacting so out of character. They had never cared much when meeting new people before, let alone a child around my age, but even as I thought that, I was beyond interested.
