I was waiting at the barns for Andreas to bring the carriage out, and I was anything but calm. The Alpha had entrusted us with a mission that we were eager to pursue, but none of us dared to share that with him.
I was not only anxious about our success, but also worried that Morgana would find out what we were planning behind her back. However, I couldn’t dwell on that as Andreas finally emerged with the carriage. I climbed up, and he urged the horses onward.
