Alaric's POV After they took Corinna, I needed a break. All I wanted was to be alone. While I watched her scared and hurt figure, I felt like my heart was breaking into pieces. My wolf was desperate to go after her, to stop everyone, and announce that she would stay with me regardless of the outcome of the trial. But I knew I couldn't do that.
