After my bath, I got dressed. Even though my wolf was roaring at me for opposing him, I left my suit without glancing at Corinna. "Why couldn't she understand?" I muttered aloud as I walked down the empty corridor. Frustrated, I punched the wall, injuring my hand. I was so angry that I thought it would be better to skip breakfast; I didn’t care what Morgana and my Betas would think. I made my way to my workroom and began assessing our supplies. Soon, I mind-linked my Betas, and they couldn't even finish their breakfast before rushing to me. "Andreas, Barrett, can you explain why we have so few crops?" Andreas frowned. "Alaric, we just discussed this. Last year, the weather was challenging; hail ruined the crops, and there wasn’t much to harvest." Hearing that only fueled my anger. "
