Rose wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but the base appeared to be rather lively in the evening.
Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she wondered silently whether there was some event she missed. But then, she soon recalled that Roman’s uncle was coming tomorrow, and wondered if they were preparing a warm welcome for him – no matter if Roman’s warning rang in her ears.
She went into the master bedroom, and was surprised to see a box sitting on the bed.
