Chapter Twenty
Abby took in a shocked breath, dropping her beer bottle onto the floor. It spilled and rolled under the desk. That was all it took for Owen to snap out of his daze. He moved so quickly she wasn’t even aware of what was happening until she felt him push her back against the door.
Owen pinned her hands with one of his own above her head and moved in close to her. She didn’t scream. Fear paralyzing her as he leaned in close, breathing in her tantalizing scent, the fear calling to his demon stronger than anything he had ever felt before. Owen felt Drake move behind him. He felt his arms wrap around his waist.
He wanted to growl at the wolf that this was his kill, but the man in him held the words back as he growled, nuzzling against her neck.
