Eli looked up at her, “I’m sorry it didn’t go differently. I’ve never lost control of my wolf before. We’re normally very in sync with each other.”
“Well, it happened and we still need to deal with it.” She said, looking back down at the stairs. “Right now, I’m just glad it helped get us out of there without you being killed or Sam trying to show me whatever his version of love is.”
“I know, I feel like it went too easy,” Eli said as Abby held the door open for him. He maneuvered her luggage through the tight fit. “So, what’s the plan now?”
